What exactly is TAYA?

They Ask You Answer (or TAYA) is a practical framework and sales and marketing philosophy based on a simple principle: when your prospect or customer asks a question, you answer it on your website. By doing so, you become the trusted advisor, or most trusted voice in your market. As a result, you will do more business than ever before.

This may sound simple when you take a quick superficial look at it. But appearances can be deceiving.

TAYA's framework essentially follows this thought process: we want to unravel questions and concerns of prospects and customers and then answer them. Open, honest, transparent and complete.

We want this way of thinking to become part of our corporate culture and apply it in our sales process so that we see an immediate impact on sales.

And with the right measurement tools in the right place in our company, we are able to measure the revenue growth that comes from implementing TAYA.

Getting your marketing in-house

One of the biggest advantages of getting started with TAYA is that it requires you to bring your marketing in-house, rather than outsourcing it to an agency.

Insourcing marketing means a happier and more effective team.

An additional benefit of our service, one that we didn't initially think of this way, is the impact that training and coaching has on the morale and careers of employees - especially the marketers in your company.

Good marketers want to develop their skills and gain more knowledge. Much of the value marketers experience in your company comes from feeling they can grow, learn and add value.

When you outsource your marketing to an agency, you miss out on the benefits of having your own team. In fact, sometimes there is even conflict between your in-house marketers and the agency you hire. With TAYA, you can avoid this and build better marketers and salespeople in your company.

Your They Ask, You Answer training and coaching team:

As a certified They Ask, You Answer-partner, our job is to train and coach you in the strategic and practical principles of TAYA. That way, at the end of your TAYA journey, you'll never have to outsource your marketing again.

We believe it is much more effective to do the marketing of your business yourself, rather than leaving it to a marketing agency.

This means you do the work yourself and we train and coach your entire team with our team of experienced sales and marketing experts.

TAYA Mastery is not business coaching. Business coaches can be a great addition strategically, but don't normally give your team hands-on training, such as how to set up lead scoring in HubSpot, how to create your own videos, or how to write articles that rank high in Google and convert as well. Our TAYA coaches and trainers do.

Each coach is a specialist in their specific field. So your team will learn the methods and strategies that our coaches themselves use every day to achieve our clients' growth and our own. This is probably the most valuable part of our TAYA program, separate from the implementation of the framework itself.

Kick-off and quarterly planning sessions.

The kick-off session
The kick-off session is the first meeting we have when a client has signed a TAYA Training & Coaching agreement.

It is incredibly important that not only your marketing team participates in this meeting, but also the company's management (the director or, as in larger companies, a division director), sales and other team members who have a lot of customer contact.

Indeed, if we can't get management excited about becoming the most trusted voice in their industry, we won't accept the client, let alone host a kick-off session.

In any case, the following key people are needed in a kick-off session:

  • A head coach at Buzzlytics
  • An account manager from Buzzlytics
  • Your (divisional) director

  • Your head of sales
  • Your marketing team

The purpose of this kick-off session is to get all parties involved on the same page regarding the goals we want to achieve. Furthermore, we will talk about how we keep you 'accountable'. We also cover practical issues such as how the trainings work, how we work together in documents and other 'house rules'.

Quarterly Planning Sessions
Quarterly planning sessions, as the name implies, take place quarterly and last considerably longer than the kickoff session (about 3 hours). We would venture to say that these are the most constructive, direct and fun meetings you will ever have.

In a quarterly planning session, we address issues such as:

  • Your scorecard and how it stands

  • 3-5 sales and marketing priorities

  • Where are we now versus where should we be
  • 90-day plan and goals

Your scorecard

One of the things we discuss in the quarterly planning session mentioned above is your Digital Sales & Marketing Mastery scorecard. This gives us insight into where we are and helps us prioritize. That way we know what we need to work on.

They Ask, You Answer Scorecard

At the start of your TAYA Mastery journey, you will probably have a score of less than 20, and that's totally okay. The point of the scorecard is not to get you to 100 right away, but to help you know what priorities to set in order to improve your score.

Weekly and biweekly training sessions

As mentioned above in the section on trainers and coaches, you will be assigned a number of subject matter experts who fit your company's needs. Who these are will be determined primarily in the kick-off and planning sessions.

Your needs determine not only which trainers and coaches you need, but also the frequency of meetings between you and your team and our coaches and trainers.

Here you can see an average build-up of the time spent with our trainers and coaches. Of course, it's not the time investment that's most important, it's about the impact and results we want to achieve together. Some trainers, such as content trainers, will require more than others, such as sales trainers or leadership coaches.

What are the trainings about?

What is included in your TAYA training and coaching?

As indicated earlier, the concept They Ask, You Answer, in itself, is relatively simple; becoming the number one trusted advisor in your industry. However, getting there requires quite an effort.

We've explained some of the key issues above, but below you'll find a complete overview of what's involved in implementing TAYA.

This is what the first 90 days look like

Based on your scorecard and what we discuss together during the kick-off and planning sessions, our head coach will help you set priorities. Our clients find the focus we give them one of the most valuable aspects of working with us.

Assigning coaches to your team
Depending on your needs, you will be assigned several or all of the coaches listed below:

  • Sales trainer
  • Content Trainer
  • Video trainer
  • HubSpottrainer

The top priorities in your first 90 days
We understand better than anyone that the above can feel overwhelming. But don't worry, not everything has to be done at once. For example, during the first 90 days of your TAYA Mastery journey, we focus on the things that will make the most impact when you start.

These are:

  • Producing content that generates revenue
  • Making the ROI measurable through reports in, preferably, HubSpot
  • recording videos that dramatically shorten the sales cycle
  • integrating content into your sales process

And now?

If you think that implementing They Ask, You Answer can make an impact in your business, here are the next steps we recommend you take.
