Buzzlytics vs. HubSpot agency: what do you need for HubSpot?
For (potential) customers who knock on our door, it is sometimes not entirely clear how exactly we can help them with HubSpot.
Understandable, because we do provide HubSpot coaching and training as part of our TAYA Mastery program, but we are not a HubSpot agency and so we do not do HubSpot implementations for our clients.
But what do we do as far as HubSpot is concerned?
As head coach at Buzzlytics, I have already helped several companies answer the question of whether they need a HubSpot agency in their case and whether they need HubSpot at all.
In this article I will explain how we can help you with HubSpot and in which cases it is best to use an agency besides TAYA Mastery. So by the end of this article you will have a better idea of whether you need an agency in your situation or whether you can implement HubSpot yourself with some guidance from us.
How can we help you with HubSpot?
If you're a small business just starting out in marketing and sales, we can help you just fine with HubSpot and you don't need an agency. We'll help you with the basic setup and get you self-sufficient in using HubSpot.
Specifically, we can help you with the following:
Evaluating your tech stack
First, we'll help you determine if you can implement They Ask, You Answer with your tech stack. The conclusion may be that a move to HubSpot or a similar tool is necessary, or it may be that your current tech stack is adequate.
Training and support
In the next step, we'll help you get started practically within HubSpot yourself. For this, we use the free training courses in the HubSpot Academy. You go through these independently, under our guidance. So you'll get more guidance than if you were to take the courses on your own, but we do assume you'll do most of it yourself. Would you like to be taken by the hand more? Then we recommend you do the implementation with a HubSpot agency.
If you are a small business just starting out in marketing and sales, we can help you just fine with HubSpot and you don't need an agency.
Small data migrations
Furthermore, we can help you with simple data migrations.
For example, there is simple data migration if you currently use Excel as your CRM and only store things like name, company name and email address. You can import this data into HubSpot very easily, so you don't need a HubSpot agency for this. Again, we'll teach you how to do this yourself, whereas an agency would probably take this off your hands.
Post-implementation guidance and data migration by an agency
After HubSpot implementation and data migration, your HubSpot agency is done and they move on to the next job. We frequently see companies who want to get started themselves a few months later not knowing how to do it. We can help you then.
Consider, for example:
- Creating dashboards based on your TAYA goals
- Improve your sales process (automation) in HubSpot)
- Making data-driven decisions based on HubSpot
- Cleaning up your current HubSpot portal
- Breaking in your HubSpot admin

When do you need a HubSpot agency besides us?
Are you a slightly larger company with bigger ambitions or does it involve a more complex data migration than I described above? Then it is important that your HubSpot account is set up professionally and clearly from the start.
This also means that it is wise to hire a HubSpot agency that can help you implement HubSpot.
In this case, I also recommend that you designate or hire someone within your company who, at least initially, can handle HubSpot several days a week. No idea where to find such a person and how to get them set up? Again, we have step-by-step playbooks for this in TAYA Mastery.
Larger companies with big ambitions or more complex data migrations we recommend hiring a HubSpot agency.
A HubSpot agency specializes in the more advanced aspects of HubSpot and can help with the following:
Advanced implementations
Agencies are accredited in several advanced components of HubSpot and can handle complex implementations. This includes custom integrations, "solution architecture design" and advanced data migrations. HubSpot agencies have completed accreditation programs at HubSpot for this purpose. In these, they have had to demonstrate that they have the knowledge and experience to perform these tasks.
So when looking for a HubSpot agency, look carefully at the accreditations they have.
Complete unburdening
For companies that don't have the capacity or expertise to do HubSpot implementation and maintenance themselves, an agency offers complete unburdening. They take over the entire onboarding, training and implementation from you, so you can focus on your core business.
Larger data migrations
When you are dealing with large and complex data sets from different tools, it is advisable to hire an agency. They have the experience and expertise to make these migrations smooth and error-free.
Complex business structures
For companies with multiple departments, branches or complex processes, an agency can ensure HubSpot is set up uniformly and effectively. This ensures that everyone can take full advantage of HubSpot's capabilities.

When looking for a HubSpot agency, look closely at the accreditations they have.

At some point, your HubSpot implementation is complete. Your account is then properly set up and you have received training to get started in HubSpot as independently as possible. We can then support you again with your HubSpot-related tasks in TAYA Mastery.
Consider, for example, setting up conversion paths in HubSpot so you can measure exactly what your website visitors did from their first visit to conversion. Has your HubSpot agency already done this with you? Great, then you'll go through TAYA Mastery faster and thus also become the trusted advisor in your market faster!
So as far as we are concerned, it's not OR Buzzlytics OR a HubSpot agency, but they can complement each other well.
It's important to let us know if you're considering working with a HubSpot agency, though. For one thing, you may be able to do it yourself if you are a small business and secondly, we can think with you about the agency that best suits your needs.
