How do I get the most out of Buzzlytics' marketing and sales program?

You are enthusiastic about our marketing and sales program and have decided that you are serious about it. Whether you have yet to start, are just getting started or have been at it longer, you want to get the most out of it.
You wonder how much time you need to set aside each week to be effective. Which team members need to be involved and what are their responsibilities? You want to know which parts of the program have the biggest impact on your ROI and how to measure success. But most of all, you want to avoid the pitfalls that other clients have fallen into.
As head coach at Buzzlytics, I developed this marketing and sales program myself based on my years of experience with the frameworks you learn to work with in the program. I have seen both companies getting great results and companies that are still waiting for results. Because of this experience, I know exactly what makes the difference between success and disappointment.
In this article, I share key insights to get the most out of the program. You'll learn how much time you need to invest, what concrete steps you can take right away and what mindset is needed for success. In addition, I discuss the most common mistakes and how to measure the success of the program. After reading this article, you'll know exactly what you need to do to turn your investment in this marketing and sales program into sustainable growth for your business.
In addition to the training sessions, you should set aside 2-3 hours per week to put what you have learned into practice.
How much time should you invest in the program?
One of the most frequently asked questions when starting the program is: how much time do I need to set aside for the program to be effective? The honest answer is: it depends on your role and ambition.
What you need anyway is about two hours per week for the training sessions (group calls) and one hour for the weekly Office Hours.
The training sessions are divided as follows:
- 50% is focused on content
- 25% is aimed at sales
- 12.5% is about marketing technique
- 12.5% deals with website optimization
As a marketer, you spend about an hour and a half per week on training, while salespeople spend an hour every other week on training. In addition, participants in the Growth of Mastery programs have access to coaching, which may require additional time.
In addition to training hours, it is essential to set aside time to implement what you learn. This means that you should set aside 2-3 extra hours per week to put what you have learned into practice. In the beginning, this may take a little more time because you need to master new processes. For example, writing a new article using the Content Compass takes a little more time the first time, but gradually gets faster and faster.
The good news is that these hours are not "lost time. In fact, they pay for themselves immediately. The new proposal you write after a proposal training, the content planning you do after a content training: they deliver immediate results. Precisely because the program is so close to daily practice, companies are willing to invest these hours.
Attend the kick-off session, get technical onboarding and create a 90-day plan to get the most out of the program.
Three concrete steps to get started right away
To get the most out of the program, there are three essential steps you can take right away:
Step 1: Attend the kick-off session
The kick-off session is your perfect start into the program. In about 45 minutes you will be welcomed by one of our trainers and given both practical and substantive information about what to expect. The kick-off is held every week, so there is always an opportunity to join.
During this session you will gain insight into the structure of the program, what to expect and how to prepare optimally. You will be introduced to the basics of the frameworks we work with and given tips on how to get the most out of the program. It is important that all team members who are going to participate in the program attend this kick-off.
Step 2: Provide technical onboarding
After the kick-off, it's time for the technical onboarding. You get access to the Circle online platform, where an extensive video explanation is available that guides you through all technical aspects. In this video, my colleague Angelique explains exactly how to access the different meetings, how to sign up for trainings and how to put everything directly into your calendar.
In the Circle platform, you will find all the information about the trainings, handouts, recordings and other materials. Once you are logged in, you can register for trainings by clicking "Going." This automatically puts the trainings in your calendar and lets the trainers know to expect you. Four weeks ahead you can see what workouts are scheduled so you can plan your schedule accordingly.
This step is crucial to ensure that you can actually participate in all parts of the program without technical obstacles.
Step 3: Create a 90-day plan
The third and perhaps most important step is to create a 90-day plan. For participants in the Growth or Mastery programs, this is done as part of the program. If you are in the Essentials program, it is recommended that you create such a plan yourself.
In the 90-day plan, you determine what you want to achieve over the next three months, which training sessions you will attend and how you will implement what you have learned into your daily practice. This plan helps you take focused steps and ensures you don't get caught up in too many different initiatives at once.
The 90-day plan is where you set your priorities. You'll look at the biggest bottlenecks in your marketing and sales funnel and determine where you can make the biggest progress. This ensures that you stay focused and actually make meters.
The key to success: the right mindset
Experience shows that the success of the program depends largely on the mindset with which you get into it. Companies that get maximum results from the program share some crucial traits:
1. They are looking for sustainable growth
First, be prepared to work with a long-term perspective. Of course you want to see results as soon as possible, and they will come when you implement what you've learned. But the real, lasting growth comes when you consistently make improvements in all areas, creating a culture change within your organization.
2. They have commitment from management
Second is commitment from the leadership team. The program only works if it is carried by the entire team, starting at the top. Leaders who are actively involved in the program lead by example and provide the necessary resources and time.
3. They consistently apply what they learn
Finally, consistent implementation is essential. It's not like you'll immediately bring in ten new customers after one content training session. It's about consistently applying what you learn in all areas. This requires discipline and perseverance.
The seven success factors for maximum results
Based on our experience with companies that have gone through our program, we have identified seven success factors that make the difference between companies that get the most out of the program and those that lag behind:
Success factor 1: Belief in the method
Assume that the method works. It's not a question of IF it works, but HOW you make it work for your specific situation.
Success factor 2: Make time for implementation
Make sure you not only attend the training sessions, but also schedule time to put what you've learned into practice.
Success Factor 3: Follow the advice in full without concessions
Experiment with adjustments only after you have first fully gone through and understood the method.
Success factor 4: Start with the basics
Stick to the 90-day plan and get the basics right first before moving on to more advanced techniques.
The biggest mistake participants make is consuming too much and implementing too little.
Success Factor 5: Discipline over motivation, duller is faster
Sometimes it's better to simply do something and refine it later than to wait until everything is perfect. Done is better than perfect.
Success Factor 6: Avoid distractions, keep moving
Never let your growth go on hold, even during busy periods. Always keep moving, even if it's slower than planned.
Success Factor 7: Put your ego aside, keep learning
Be willing to let go of existing assumptions and be open to new insights, even if they contradict what you've learned before.
If you apply these seven principles consistently, you'll be amazed at your own progress after 90 days. You'll barely recognize the articles you wrote at the beginning and have a completely different perspective on your website and marketing materials.
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Even with the best intentions, companies can fall into pitfalls that get in the way of program success. Knowing these pitfalls will help you avoid them:
Consuming too much and implementing too little
The biggest mistake participants make is consuming too much and implementing too little. It's tempting to take all the training available and fill yourself up with knowledge. But if that knowledge is not converted into action, it does not produce results. At the beginning of each month, decide which trainings you will attend and how you will immediately apply what you have learned.
The wrong team members at the wrong training sessions
Another common mistake is having the wrong team members at the wrong training sessions. It's not effective if a marketer attends all the sales training or vice versa. Of course cross-training is valuable, but focus first on what is directly relevant to your role.
No clear priorities
Finally, I see that sometimes companies don't set clear priorities. They try to do everything at once and end up with a long list of half-finished projects. By working with a 90-day plan and clear priorities, you'll get a lot more done.
Look not only for an increase in traffic, leads and sales, but also for other indicators of success.
How do you measure the success of the program?
Now that you know what you should and should not do to get the best results from the program, of course you want to know how to know if you are successful.
The ultimate goal of the program is growth in traffic, leads and sales. These are concrete metrics you can track to see if the program is having an effect.
But there are also other indicators of success. One important aspect is the development of your team. Have the members of your team gained new skills? Are they engaging in their own learning and development process in a different way? Are they handling AI tools in a more innovative way, for example?
But perhaps the most valuable result is the lasting change in working method. The goal of the program is not just to achieve temporary growth, but to develop skills you can use in the long term. For example, if you know how to make 1-to-1 videos, you'll still be able to do it five years from now, even if you're no longer working with us.
So you measure the success of the program not only in immediate results, but also in the lasting impact on your team and organization.
Sustainable growth through consistent implementation
Buzzlytics' marketing and sales program can be a real gamechanger for your business, but only if you get it right. By following the three concrete steps - attending the kick-off, ensuring technical onboarding and creating a 90-day plan - you will lay a solid foundation for success. Combine this with the right time investment and a long-term vision, and you will see that the program leads not only to immediate results, but also to sustainable growth.
In the end, it's all about the balance between acquiring knowledge and implementing it. Too many companies make the mistake of just attending training sessions without putting what they've learned into practice. You make the real difference by consistently applying what you learn and staying focused on your priorities.
As the person who created the program at Buzzlytics, I see daily the difference between companies that are getting maximum benefit from the program and those that are struggling to get results. The success stories have one thing in common: They see the program not as a quick fix, but as an investment in the future of their organization. They are building not only better marketing and sales processes, but also a team that functions at a higher level.
Are you ready to get the most out of Buzzlytics' marketing and sales program? Then schedule your kick-off session today, start creating your 90-day plan and commit to implementing what you learn. Not only will you see your marketing and sales results improve, you and your colleagues will develop into experts who can grow sustainably.
